Hanji is a type of traditional Korean paper that dates back to the 3rd century. Made of mulberry bark, it has natural fibers called ‘dak’ that make it strong and durable. These pages do not tear easily, they are pleasant to the eye and soft to the touch with a smooth texture. Hanji's sturdiness has allowed it to be used for various purposes such as art material, stationery and everyday household goods. Here, hanji is used in a simple, graphic notebook from Hanaduri. Hand screenprinted cover.
