This incense is a nod to the chrysanthemum craze of the Edo era. The flower was believed to prolong life and during the Edo Period the Chrysanthemum Festival became a yearly event where people drank chrysanthemum sake infused with medicinal blossoms. The Chrysanthemum Incense is warm and pleasantly floral.
Directions for use: Light the tip of the incense and blow out the flame. When a wisp of smoke begins to flow, place the opposite end of the incense in your holder. Tune into the sensations the incense creates.
