Shipping Updates, Donation News

As you may or may not know, our business is based in Houston, Texas. Our state is dealing with a major crisis right now. In our own home, we’ve spent the majority of the week without power since Monday. Thankfully it’s back at the moment and this is the longest it’s stayed on yet. Water pressure is still weak and the city remains under a boil notice. All that said, there’s been a bit of a delay in shipping. We were able to knock out a ton of orders on Sunday before the cold weather hit and dropped them off that evening at a UPS pickup site. Unfortunately those packages are still showing as “Label created/ shipment ready for UPS.” You’ll start to see progress in the tracking once UPS is fully operational again. Anything shipped via USPS is still in our possession, as USPS has been closed all week. We’re checking our local post office every day so we can get these safely dropped off.

If you’re looking to offer assistance, so many people are in need of help right now and will continue to need help for some time. We know how overwhelming it can feel to want to reach out but have no idea where to start so we’re happy to share a few groups below. We’ve committed to donating 20% of February’s sales split between the three organizations. We made a donation to each this morning to get the ball rolling and will be contributing more at the end of the month. We invite you to shop with us or donate directly.

If you have an order you are waiting on, we apologize for the delay in getting your order to you. We appreciate your patience and understanding at this time.

With love, with gratitude.
